The rise and rise of Cat Eye sunglasses...

The cat eye style has, over the decades, maintained a respectable level of popularity. But, the 50's, 60's and here & now, have been the most prominent eras for the trend.

Cat Eye sunglasses are still most commonly associated with the 1950's, due to their affinity with superstars and fashion icons of that era, like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor. But the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Adele, Katy Perry and Angelina Jolie have helped spearhead it's revival over the past 4/5 years and the popularity of the modernised, contemporary Cat Eye frames is showing little sign of cooling.
